Quick Reference for the Faderfox Micromodul LV2
Having recently acquired one of the excellent Micromodul LV2, I found that the manual does not feature a quick reference of the features, instead it covers everything in such detail and redundancy that I felt the need for jotting down some notes so I would never have to refer to it again.
Selecting the active track
- Shift and one of the buttons 1-12: select track 1-12
- Shift and klick Encoder 4: Master Track
Faders
- per track
- toggle tracks 1–6 or 7-11 per Group key
- LEDs above faders indicate currently selected track
- on holding the Shift key, LEDs above the fader indicate deviation from current actual value (green is lower, red is higher than physical fader position)
- holding Shift and moving a fader does not send values, use this to align fader (or joystick) position to current value
Encoders
- select encoder function via:
- upper Pot ctrl key for Send, EQ and Clip
- lower Pot ctrl key for FX 3-5
- grey Master key : Master
- Shift+Encoder or Shift+klick encoder allows to use master setting, regardless of what track is currently selected. Comes in handy to quickly select and launch a new scene or change master or cue volume.
